These photos were taken by my old mates Pete,Julie and Andre,it was one of the first gigs I'd put on and considering some of the underhand crap that was going on in the background, it didn't turn out too bad! I'd seen DC Fontana at Camber the year before and they'd blown my socks off,fantastic! Because of line up changes they weren't the band I'd booked, although still very good they were more of a sixties beat band along the same lines as Ready Steady Go! in fact I think it was Col Deans that pointed out that they'd just played R,S,G's set!
I found it hard to believe that the little boy in the background is my son Joe, He used to sit on the door with Dave Terrys son Nick taking money and tickets (it's a shame there are no pictues of Nick)
